17: Google
Experiencing complications with Blogger and NotebookLM. Blog posts I have published are showing 1969 time stamps. What's going on?

Is this the attack on Google that was threatened a few days ago?
— Paramendra Kumar Bhagat (@paramendra) March 17, 2026
A possibly global DNS outage right now, Cloudflare and Google DNS servers went down from where I'm at somewhere in the middle east around half an hour ago, US-based servers I maintain also experienced such issues. Devices using my own self-hosted DNS server are unaffected.

A null pointer caused Google's worldwide outage.

86+ services went down.
This tells us "A single line of untested code can cause a major incident!" pic.twitter.com/LuM13I9Ouk
Hi Trish, apologies for the ongoing outage and extended disruption. We'll always do our best to resolve outages ASAP, and appreciate your bearing with us. Please don't hesitate to DM us and I'll be glad to check for any outage updates on your GFiber network. -Lee

For example https://t.co/JXvaljPa5C consumer api endpoints can go down but it doesn’t affect enterprise. Same with GPT on Azure.

- not feature flagging a new code path
- null pointer crashing a binary when reading empty fields from Spanner
- remediation causing a thundering herd as there was no exponential backoff
- which required manual throttling to recover from pic.twitter.com/6AQ4BQk5ex
Google down, YouTube down, many other plattforms down: looks like a big cloudflare outage. pic.twitter.com/840USxEf6H

¿Soy yo o todos los servicios de Google valieron verga en este momento?

Youtube sin conexión, Chrome ni sus luces, Maps sin cargar...
We need to get more chatty to get things done, from the leaks I've seen. Which I'm not sure is what I'm looking for.

Expect also to be down for the first days and unusable 😆 typical Google.
🚨 YouTube Global Outage (Feb 18, 2026)
— Mr. Ravin (@mrravinz) February 18, 2026
Users worldwide are reporting “Something went wrong” errors, playback failures, buffering issues, and missing Studio analytics. This appears to be a server-side Google issue, so fixes must come from YouTube.

Google seems to be having huge capacity issues and I think they're trying to compensate for that
— Tom auf (@tom2320x) March 12, 2026
Google doesn’t have enough infrastructure to handle the avalanche of requests from the Gemini Pro plan. They oversold the service and now can’t keep up, so they had to do the worst possible thing:break the product with those 7-day usage blocks.

I agree that sometimes tools are thrown off because of something, these past 30 days the volatility has been absolutely crazy in Google. I've posted about this before but web pages are constantly disappearing from SERPs and coming back days later.
— SEO Observer (@observeseo) March 16, 2026
@Google just broke it's weather widget and is sending you to Search. It's disgusting to look at and less useful.
